Teresa Shuler - Owner

I've been working in the staffing industry since the early '90s, and I've loved every minute of it. Columbus has a great legal market which I began recruiting for in 1999. Every year Columbus Business First lists the top 25 law firms in Columbus, and I'm proud to say 23 of them are my long-time clients. Additionally, I work with multiple small and medium-sized firms. Each office has its own unique culture and goals. I truly enjoy working with the firms' leadership teams to identify attorneys and support staff that will embrace the culture and share the goals of the firm.

After 20 plus years, I still love what I do and that makes coming to work every day so much easier. Hopefully, that's evident in the excellent level of service provided to the local firms and the candidates I work with.

Specialties: Understanding what an employer is looking for. There are many candidates that have the skills to fill a position, but hires are based on much more than that.

Amy King

Amy King - Director of Operations

Amy has been working with the team at Aspen Careers since 2015. She truly enjoys helping clients and candidates find “just the right fit” for them. It is a big responsibility and one she takes pride in. Amy specializes in legal and administrative staffing.

Prior to Aspen, Amy received her Bachelor’s in Operations Management from UNC Charlotte. Amy spent eight years in banking and enjoyed the corporate, fast-paced environment. After taking the time to be home with her children Amy decided it was time to resume her career and this has been a great fit.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors and photography.

Lavinia Mason

Lavinia Mason - Director of Attorney Recruitment

Lavinia is a seasoned Legal Recruiter with 12 year's experience in the industry. Her recruiting career began in Southern California with a nationally recognized recruiting firm. She was very successful in placing high-level support staff and paralegals. She then began attorney recruitment and has excelled in this arena as well. Lavinia is excellent at identifying candidates for positions that are extremely difficult to fill. Relationship building is Lavinia's passion.

Kelly Ewald

Kelly Ewald, Director of Office Administration

Kelly is a seasoned Administrative Assistant with over 10 years of experience in law firms as a paralegal and office manager.  Kelly manages the administrative functions of our office to include payroll, invoicing, and HR functions.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Business Management in 2007 and held positions with two different law firms where she was able to gain the knowledge and experience that has facilitated her office administrator role with Aspen Careers.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.  Kelly volunteers her time to coach her son’s travel soccer team.  She also dedicates her free time to the PTO of Columbus Preparatory Academy, where she is the President.

 


Kathy Rosenberry

Kathy Rosenberry

Kathy brings 30+ years of Legal Management and staffing experience from the Central Ohio area. In April 2019 Kathy retired as the Director Of Administrative Services at Ice Miller where she managed the Columbus office and focused on many firm-wide projects such as Secretary teaming, virtual document production, Hub Innovation Centers and developed a secretarial comprehensive core competency training program.

Kathy and her husband John live in German Village with “Tutter” their 8-year-old rescue Chihuahua. She is a member of The Short North Stage Administrative Board.

Kathy takes tap class at Ballet Met and is learning to play the ukulele with the help of the internet. She says one of the perks of working part-time is that she will be able to spend more time with her three grandsons, ages 3, 2 and 1 when she isn’t working.
